Increased intraocular pressure does not necessarily have to be a contraindication to performing a laser vision correction procedure.
Everything depends on what values the examination reveals and on whether they will be within the normal range. If the pressure indeed turns out to be too high, an ophthalmic surgeon will either perform further diagno-stics themselves or refer you for further diagnostics somewhere else so as to exclude eye diseases (e.g. glaucoma) and degenerations which may be a contraindication to the surgery.
