The patient may return to work approximately a week after the procedure. We recommend taking a rest for the first 7 days following the surgery. This time may be slightly longer in some cases, depending on the correction method applied.
Generally speaking, there are no contraindications to working in front of a computer screen, but a break from work is recommended as the patient may initially experience eye fatigue and photophobia while working on the computer. It is a normal symptom related to the healing process in the cornea (up to a month after the procedure). More information regarding post-operative recommendations are available in the article.
