Bathing and swimming in water reservoirs such as a pool, lake or sea is absolutely forbidden for up to 30 days following the laser vision correction procedure.

Water in public tanks contains irritants – chlorine or bacteria. Bathing in such places may result in them getting into the eyes, causing irritation or inflammation, thus disturbing the healing process of the cornea.

What is more, using water park facilities, such as water slides, and sharing confined water space with other people may lead to an eye injury.
