The stability of a refractive error is one of the most essential parameters which may either qualify or disqualify you from a laser vision correction surgery. Only when the error is stable (with fluctuations of not more than 0,25-0,5 dioptre per year) is it possible to perform the procedure in such a way that its result is permanent. If you have not had to replace your glasses with stronger or weaker ones since your last doctor’s appointment, your vision defect is rather stable. Make an appointment for a qualifying examination in order to check how stable it really is and to verify whether you can be qualified for the procedure.
