You should stop wearing soft contact lenses at least 7 days before the one-day procedure/laser vision correction surgery. In the case of hard lenses or toric lenses (the cylindrical ones – used for correcting astigmatism), this time is minimum 3 weeks to a month.

During this time you can only wear corrective glasses.
