Hello, my error is +3.5 in the left eye and +0.5 in my right eye, my question is: is it true that hyperopia tends to relapse after the surgery?

The WaveLight EX500 excimer laser, which we have in our Centre, is capable of correcting hyperopia from +0.25D to +6.0D. It is possible to correct the error you mention but only if it is in fact hyperopia and not presbyopia, which is age-associated deterioration of eyesight and results from ageing of the muscles which are responsible for accommodation. Hyperopia can be operated once and for all but, unfortunately, presbyopia (which is a natural process) is inoperable.
