The return to office work is possible approximately a week after the procedure. We recommend you to take a rest for the first 7 days. Depending on the correction method applied, this time may be slightly longer – up to 14 days.

Generally speaking, there are no contraindications to working in front of the computer; however, what needs to be taken into consideration is the fact that the patient may experience eye fatigue or photophobia cause by looking at the computer screen for a long time. It is a natural symptom connected with the healing process within the cornea (up to a month after the procedure).

Driving a car after the laser vision correction is not allowed until the patient undergoes the first follow-up examination. It is scheduled either a day (in the case of the SBK LASIK method) or a week (LASEK or TransPRK) after the procedure.. If the vision will not be stable enough, the ophthalmic surgeon may recommend a longer break from driving vehicles – even up to 3 weeks.
