1. It is possible to return to work as soon as 1-3 days after a laser vision correction procedure, depending on the correction method. You will receive a doctor’s note to cover the absence or you can take a rest leave instead. It is necessary to take 5-10-minute breaks from work every hour. Following the surgery you should use prescribed medications (eye drops), avoid staying in dusty environments, sleep in special eye shields for the first 7 days after the surgery, wear sunglasses outdoors, limit intensive physical activity (mild aerobic training may be performed as early as approximately 4-5 days after the procedure). The cost of the procedure covers the eye drops, eye shields and sunglasses.
2. If you wear contact lenses, you should stop using them at least 7 days prior to the appointment in our Centre. In case of a long-term or permanent pharmacological treatment, it is necessary to obtain a certificate from your treating physician attesting to the lack of contraindications to the procedure and the stability of medication doses for the following 6 months.
3. The convalescence period after the surgery lasts 30 days.
4. One-day procedures are conducted two days a week, and the waiting time is maximum 1-2 weeks from the first email or phone contact with the Centre.
