In case of a one-day procedure the cost of the preliminary qualifying examination (200 PLN) is deducted from the price of the both-eye surgery. After the procedure, you need to take the received medications (eyedrops, included in the price of the correction) according to the doctor’s recommendations. The administration period is approximately 30 days. During this time it is not allowed to use a sauna or swim in a pool or any other water tanks. When you can actually come back to work depends to a large extent on the method of the surgery and the type of job you have. In case of office work, it is recommended to return to work a few days after the procedure. If your job involves dust exposure or any other adverse working conditions, it is strongly advised to avoid it for up to 30 days after the surgery. You are entitled to a sick leave for the whole time of your absence.
