1) The main contraindications to a laser vision correction procedure are: the age below 18, lack of refractive error stabilisation, eye diseases, diabetes-related changes in the retina, an implanted pacemaker, cancer, mental disorders, addictions.
2) We offer a one-day-procedure mode. Laser vision correction in this mode is conducted on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The preliminary qualifying examination is conducted in the morning and if you are qualified and you decide to undergo the surgery, the procedure itself takes place after 4 pm.
3) Air travel is not recommended earlier than 3 days after the surgery. Driving a car after laser vision correction is an individual matter, which depends on the type and severity of the refractive error and vision stabilisation after the surgery. It is usually possible to drive right after a follow-up examination, yet it is not a rule. After the procedure it is strongly advised to refrain from any activities which require excessive physical effort, going to a sauna or swimming in a pool or a natural body of water. It is also recommended to avoid dusty environments for the first month after the procedure.
4) The cost of the qualifying examination is 250 PLN, and the maximum cost of the surgery on both eyes is 6400 PLN. If you are qualified for the bilateral surgery in the one-day-procedure mode, the cost of the examination is deducted from to total cost of the procedure. Patients from outside of the Tricity who decide to undergo the one-day procedure receive an additional discount of 200 PLN towards the costs of the accommodation granted on the basis of booking confirmation.
5) A follow-up examination is scheduled either for the next day after the surgery or a week after the surgery, depending on the method you have been qualified for (during the preliminary qualifying examination a doctor verifies your eligibility for the procedure and chooses the most suitable method basing on your test results and medical history).
