Preliminary qualifying examinations are conducted once or twice a week. During the examination eye drops are administered, and this causes a temporary (4-5 hour-long) decrease in visual acuity both at close and long distance. Therefore, it is strongly advised not to drive any vehicles after the examination until the visual acuity is fully restored.
