I had a preliminary qualifying examination in another clinic and, unfortunately, I was disqualified from having a laser vision correction surgery due to insufficient thickness of the cornea. Do you offer other correction methods which allow correcting short-sightedness (-6.0 dioptres) in spite of a previous disqualification?

Corneal thickness itself does not constitute a contraindication to performing laser vision correction using a surface method (in our clinic we offer LASEK and TransPRK methods).
However, other parameters need to be verified before the final decision regarding the qualification for the procedure can be taken. In order to do this, you have to attend a preliminary qualifying examination which costs 300 PLN. If you decide to undergo the surgery in a one-day-procedure mode (the examination and the surgery on the same day), the cost of the qualifying examination will be deducted from the total cost of the bilateral procedure (surgery on both eyes). The maximum cost of the surgery is 7000 PLN for both eyes, but it depends on the correction method you will be qualified for.
