I have a few questions regarding the vision correction:
1. Is a relapse of the refractive error possible after the surgery and can it lead (in rare cases) to loss of eyesight?
2. I am physically active, but my activities are somewhat unusual – I have been practising break-dance for years. Would I be able to go back to my trainings after the surgery (even after 30 days)? My head touches the ground quite often, but does not hit it; I stand and twist on it. Wouldn’t that cause some kind of postoperative complications? Thank you in advance for your answer.

1. “Relapse of the refractive error”, or the differences between the planned and the achieved result of the correction can happen in some cases. The laser can operate a range of errors from -14 to +6, and the extreme errors may require and additional surgery. It happens in less than 1% of all cases. Should such one occur, after the stabilisation period of 6 months an additional surgery is performed (it is included in the price of the first procedure). To date, not a single case of vision loss due to laser vision correction was reported.
2. Usually, a strenuous physically activity can be taken up 30 days after the surgery. Standing on your head elevates the intraocular pressure; it is advisable to give it up for at least 2 months. The other activities can be practised as usual. A qualifying examination is a basis of every laser vision correction. During the examination multiple tests are performed in order to determine any medical contraindications and the most suitable method of correction.
