I would like to make an appointment for a laser vision correction in a one-day-procedure mode.
However, I have a question whether I can have the procedure under anaesthesia. I am an anxious person, and it would help me to get medication that would prevent me from panicking.

There is no need to burden the body with general anaesthesia. The laser vision correction procedure is performed under local anaesthesia (anaesthetic eye drops) and it lasts only a few minutes of which the laser works for only a few seconds.
The patient is obliged to follow the surgeon’s orders and therefore must remain fully conscious.
