Your refractive error falls within the acceptable range possible to be corrected with laser, which is from -14.0 dioptres to +6.0 dioptres and up to 6 dioptres in case of astigmatism. Laser vision correction can correct both refractive errors as well as their combinations. In our Ophthalmologic Centre we perform one-day procedures, which means both a preliminary qualifying examination and the surgery are conducted on the same day. A follow-up examination is scheduled either a day or a week after the surgery depending on the correction method you have been qualified for. You should not wear contact lenses for at least 7 days before the one-day procedure. On the day of the surgery it is not allowed to apply any makeup, use perfumed deodorants or perfumes, and it is recommended to wear comfortable clothes. It is also advised to come to the clinic with an accompanying person, as it is not allowed to drive after the surgery. You cannot have any infection on the day of the surgery, otherwise the procedure will not be performed. We do provide a doctor’s note if required. The duration of the medical leave is established individually and may be up to 30 days after the surgery.
