I’d like to ask about the possibility of having a laser vision correction. How long do I have to wait for an appointment? What is the procedure of laser vision correction like? I’m 26 years old, I’m short-sighted (with -6,5 in my left eye and -7,5 in my right eye) and astigmatic. How much does such a correction cost?

In our Ophthalmologic Centre we offer a one-day procedure, which means that both the qualifying preliminary examination and the surgery are scheduled for the same date. The appointment should be made at least 1-2 weeks prior to the day of the procedure. Wavelight® Ex500 Excimer Laser, which we use in our centre, corrects vision defects within the range of -14 to +6 dioptres and astigmatism up to 6 dioptres. The preliminary examination costs 200PLN and the maximum cost of a laser vision correction performed on both eyes is 6500 PLN. In case of the one-day procedure on both eyes, the cost of the preliminary examination is deducted from the cost of the surgery.
