Pregnancy, or, to be more precise, hormonal imbalance typical of pregnancy, may affect the results of the preliminary qualifying examination and later also affect the results of the laser vision correction surgery itself. What is more, every patient has to take medications in the form of eye drops for at least a month (depending on how the healing process goes and what recommendations the doctor has provided), which may have an influence on the whole body.
We recommend postponing the decision to have a baby until at least the treatment is terminated, i.e. until about 3-6 months after the procedure, or considering having a laser vision correction after the pregnancy, approximately 3-6 months after you stop breastfeeding.
