To assess whether it will be safe to perform the procedure and whether there are no contraindications, you need to undergo a preliminary qualifying examination.

After the age of 40-45, everyone will need reading glasses and it is not related to a previously performed laser vision correction surgery. It is a progressive physiological process resulting from the ageing of the body, caused by a decrease in elasticity of the intraocular lens.
