Is there a schedule of follow-up appointments that I need to attend after a laser vision correction procedure? Are these appointments paid? What if I cannot attend an examination?

The first follow-up appointment after laser vision correction is included in the total price of the procedure. It is scheduled either a day or a week after the surgery, depending on which correction method has been applied.

In our clinic, we do not use a schedule of compulsory follow-up appointments. Subsequent check-ups are scheduled individually if the attending ophthalmic surgeon considers them necessary.

Regardless of whether the subsequent follow-up appointment has been recommended by the doctor or the patient makes the appointment on their own, these appointments are paid, according to the pricelist. Appointments scheduled up to 6 months after the procedure are charged as the follow-up examinations, but for the ones you attend later than 6 months after the procedure you will pay as for the specialist ophthalmologic examination.
