The use of orthokeratology will not affect your daughter’s qualification for a laser vision correction surgery. However, you should remember that she should stop wearing orthokeratotic lenses at least 4-6 weeks before the procedure. When she turns 18 and her refractive error stabilises, i.e. there are no changes greater than 0,5 dioptre per year, she can make an appointment for a preliminary examination in order to be qualified for the surgery.
