My short-sightedness is still worsening, with -6,5 dioptres in one eye and -7 in the other. Within the last six months it has increased by 1 dioptre and 0,75 dioptre respectively. I would love to undergo a laser vision correction procedure, but so far there seem to be no chances for the defect to become stable. Is it possible for me to have laser vision correction? My life with such a defect is very difficult. I would be grateful for an answer to my question.

The stability of a refractive error is one of the most important parameters which either qualify or disqualify you from a laser vision correction procedure. To guarantee permanent results the surgery may only be conducted in case of a stable refractive error (with changes not greater than 0,25 to 0,5 dioptre per year).
